How Much Does It Cost to Book SideHustle® LIVE? A Real Pricing Guide

There's no fixed sticker price for booking SideHustle® LIVE privately — here's exactly what moves the number, and what public ticket pricing looks like for comparison.

How much does it cost to book SideHustle® LIVE?

There's no single number, because a 40-person private dinner and a 300-person conference plenary need different builds — but the quote itself is simple once we have your inputs. Three things move it: how many people are in the room, whether the show travels to you, and how much you customize the prompts.

What actually moves the number

Group size. The core format is a 60 to 90 minute show built around four rounds — three brainstorm-pitch-score-rotate rounds plus a higher-stakes finale — hosted by co-creators Darby Rollins and Tomer Soran. That structure holds whether you've got 30 people or 300, but a bigger room usually means a longer run-time, more rounds, or a bigger cast to keep the pacing tight. That's the single biggest lever on price.

Travel and venue. SideHustle® LIVE runs its recurring public shows at Pershing Hall in Austin, but private bookings travel. If the show has to fly or drive a cast to your city, that's a real cost that gets built into the quote. If you're already near an existing tour stop, the number comes down.

Customization. A stock private show uses the same absurd-but-plausible pitch prompts the public shows use. If you want prompts calibrated to your industry, a branded round, or a product tie-in worked into the format, that's more prep work on our side and it shows up in the quote. See can SideHustle® LIVE be customized for your brand for what customization actually looks like.

Lead time. Corporate offsite planning generally works best with 4-6 weeks of runway — tighter is possible, but the calibration (matching prompts to your audience) suffers when it's rushed.

What public ticket pricing looks like, for comparison

The clearest public data point is the Oct 1, 2026 show at Pershing Hall — the SideHustle® brand's 7-year anniversary celebration, since the brand launched via Kickstarter on Sept 24, 2019. Public ticket pricing for each show is listed on the event page when tickets go live. Private bookings are quoted differently: instead of per-ticket pricing, you're paying a flat fee that covers the whole cast, hosts, and format for your specific group, not a per-seat price. That's a meaningfully different economic model than a ticketed public show, which is why "how much does a ticket cost" and "how much does it cost to book the show privately" have different answers.

What a defensible range actually requires

If a vendor gives you a hard number with no context, be skeptical — pricing that doesn't move with group size, venue, or customization usually means someone's padding the quote either at the low end (to win the deal, then upselling) or the high end (to cover unknowns they haven't asked about). A real quote should be able to tell you, specifically, which of the four factors above is driving your number up or down. If it can't, ask again.

The fastest way to get a real number for your event is to give us the four inputs that actually drive it: your date, your group size, your venue or city, and how much customization you want.

Frequently asked questions

What factors affect the cost of booking a private show?

Group size, travel, customization, and lead time. Group size and travel usually move the number the most.

Does price change by city or group size?

Yes. Group size changes the cast and run-time; city changes travel cost if the show has to come to you from outside its regular tour route.

Is there a minimum group size to book?

The format is designed to scale from a small private dinner up to a large conference plenary, so there's more flexibility than a rigid floor.

Ready to get a real number instead of a range? Book a 15-minute call with your date, group size, and venue and we'll quote it against the factors above — no per-seat guesswork.
